Has anyone used a blow up outdoor screen?

The price is for the movie screen, projection equipment and sound system. It was an awesome night. We did not charge to see the movie or anything else in our neighborhood so we did not purchase a movie license. We could not find anywhere that we were required to as this was a private, free event not open to the general public. Hope that helps.

Sunny FL, is that rental just for the screen, or for projection equipment and movie license, too?

If we could get our costs down in that range, we could make some money off of ours.

If you don't expect too much from me, you might not be let down. <img src=images/smilies/smile.gif>

We have not done it for our school, but for our neighborhood. Timing becomes an issue because the movie cannot begin until it is dark outside but you will still want the weather pleasant enough to enjoy. The rental company we use charges us $600 for the first rental and $400 for subsequent rentals in the same calendar year. If you are in NE Florida let me know and I will give you the information. We did it as a movie and campout night on our soccer field.

49 er thanks for the information it looks great. $600.00 would be super. I wish I lived in your area. I am in Massachusetts. I think I will look into it a bit more because it looks like lots of fun! I think it's wonderful you volunteer for your daughter's school and I agree they are only young once! You sound like a great dad and I'm sure your daughter is very proud of you! Thanks so much for the information I truly appreciate it very much!

While looking for some ideas I came across an inflatable movie screen. I was just wondering if anyone had used this and what the cost would be. Thanks for any imput you may have.

I have been the president for my daughters school for the past 7 years and took this year off to enjoy her last year of elementary. But i have chose to stay on as the entertainment director for the PTO group and run the years upcoming events. The reason for that is the following. I own and operate a complete entertainment company. I have been lucky enough to have most of the items that the schools have needed over the years. And I do carry inflatable screens, Now I rent them out for $895 for events, but for school I rent them out for $600 a night complete with staff and everything you need except for the movie that you provide for your event. This is a great idea for those of you that do not have the room inside your MPR's. And by the way for those out there maybe wondering. I am a Full Time Single Father that has done this for my daughter and her school now since she started school. So there is time in the day to do everything, just remember that they are only young once and you may miss that once in a life time moment. :D
