Hi all - long time lurker/first-time poster - I have enjoyed reading your ideas and have got lots of tips from these forums, so thanks!
Thought I'd share a new Family night idea our PTA has come up with - a dance-themed night which we are calling "Dancing with the Staff", as about a dozen of our very brave teachers are going to be performing!
We have invited all school dance groups: ball-room dancers, jazz, ballet, hip-hop etc to perform an item and even the PTA are going to be doing an item- as yet undecided!!
Free entry for parents and families, we will sell finger food and drinks, so will make a little money, but the emphasis is on just getting together and seeing what the kids (and staff and PTA!!) can do!
Will let you know how it goes.
