Just wanted to share an event I planned through Scholastic Book Fairs. Build a Book Night...great event...so simple...just a family night - getting together - bringing kids back to school. Added a little juice, cookies & water and perfect. Each book costs $6 - (I did preorders so I knew how many to expect). We sold 85 books and had 130 people come. The kids had a blast, we also had our bookfair open (which added another $650 to our total) not bad for 1 1/2 hour event!
If you are considering it...go for it...I cant tell you how many families told me what a great job we did (and it really wasnt that much work).
