Carnival ticktet ??

your card system would work if you made one for each student ahead of time.. so their name would be on it , and they couldn't get a new card.. If you have siblings coming, the families would have to RSVP in advance.. and then a 1 year old sibling would " get a card" and the student could fill their sib's bag, theoretically. so that may not work.. now that I am thinking it through...........

Hmmmmm............. do you absolutely have to have prizes?? Our school does carnival in the spring without prizes..and everyone is very happy playing, just for the fun. How much money do you spend on prizes?? Could that money be used for something else?? I know SO MANY budgets are so tight.. that maybe the PTO could " instead of giving away junk this year.. that parents hate to see fundraising $$ spent on" ....... buy each student a book from the summer reading list, and that's their prize???

Maybe wristbands??? You could place a wristband (like at concerts) on each child as they come in the door to the event. Each booth could have a different shaped hole-punch (star, heart, moon, etc). Once a child has received a prize from that booth, that shape hole gets punched in the wristband. Then, if and when the same child comes back to that booth the band can be checked. If that shape has already been punched in their band let them know they can play but no more prizes as they already received one, so there is enough to go around.

I know it would be necessary for more volunteers at the door and would eat up some time at the booths (to check bands) but there just about any plan you come up with will change the original flow of things. Just one idea...

For our Family Fun Night we charge a fee at the door that is it. Nothing for the games and the kids get a prize at each booth but we want to limit the kids to one prize for each booth(10-15 games). They can play the game as often as they want but not get a prize once they already received one. This is not a fundraising event just a fun night for the end of the school year.
My question how to control the kids getting gretty which last year was really bad we had kids wandering around with filled bags and then we ran out of prizes and some kids didnt get any.
I thought of having a card for each kid and it would be stamped, but not sure if that would stop them from getting a new card. And with 600 students that would be hard to control.

Need ideas help!!!!
