If you are having a mom2mom sale at your school in the spring, sell them as part of your concessions. I also like the idea of using them as part of your Teacher Appreciation week-- You can make a label in word with a saying or poem on it... Your such a sweet Teacher, ect.
We had the same problem with leftover candy bars. We sold them for Valentine's Day. We sent a note out to parents having them fill in a form with Valentine's Day greetings which we taped to the candy bar and the fifth graders deliver them to the child's class...like a Candygram. The money made went towards the fifth grade class trip.
Maybe print some wrappers and use them to promote your PTO or use them for a teacher appreciation week give away. You can easily print, cut and glue stick a wrapper. Our PTO stuffs the mailboxes during TA week with little goodies and that would be a nice one.
If you host concessions at sporting events, you could easily sell them - or at a carnival or movie night?
have you ever heard of the cake walk? Why couldn't you do a candy walk? We were thinking of doing this for our family day event. have candies instead of cakes for the prizes. Just a thought.Good Luck!
I guess the answer is how does your school enviroment feel about candy going to kids? But if it is after school I wouldnt see a big thing, we are actually doing a book bingo in March!

We recently had a fundraiser which left us with alot of unsold candybars. we were trying to come up with other ideas on how to get rid of them. But this is the only one we could come up with. can anyone offer an opinion or idea?
