Thanks all!

My kids and the staff are really excited about getting this off the ground. I'm greatful to have something in hand to take to them.

The school family nights on this site also have a brand new information packet about Science Nights. I got mine last month and am so excited about putting this on for the kids. It comes with about 10 experiment ideas and lists of how to organize and plan it as well as lists of things you need.

I am in the same boat as you. They ran one at a former school, so I am pulling information from memory. Here are a few websites I have found useful:
www.all-science-fair-projects.com
www.detroit.lib.mi.us/childrens_library/science_fair.htm
www.scienceproject.com
www.school.discover.com/sciencefaircentr...studio/teachers.html

www.teachersparadise.com has some nice participation certificates

for the kids they can check out:
www.pbs.org/teachersource/sci_tech.htm or pbskids.org/activities/sci (a Zoom website)
for experiments!!

Good Luck and let me know if you find anything cool as well. We are doing K-2 in November and 3-4th in February because of space and number of students.

Our school is looking to put on a science fair (elementary school) for grades 1-5 (maybe k, not decided yet). :Has anyone ever run one, are there site for them? Your input would be greatly appreciated!
