If you don't have to be the Junior Blue Comets, why not hold some type of contest for the new mascot? Each class can decide on the mascot and design (or make that a separate contest) of their choice and have a committee choose which one they like best. Or better yet, post them some place like the cafeteria and let the kids choose which one they like best. Heck, you could even charge pennies, nickels, dimes, etc. to vote. The winner could be the one with the most change. The winning class could get some small prize/treat or somehow give them some recognition.
I'm a new PTO Presdient to a middle school. We have 2 middle schools that flow into one high school. The middle schools are both 'Junior Blue Comets' and the High School is the Blue Comets. The middle schoolers would like to be different. Any suggestions on how? slogan, draphics, design? Any help would be appreciated.
