Hi jcbmoom,

Family Movie NIght is quick and easy to plan! Our PTA board did it with just 4 people making the calls. We had 1 person contact all the local pizza joints to see who would either donate the pizza or reduce the price. The local LIttle Caesar's gave us the large pizza's for $4 each, we got the local vendor of Coke give us 200 cans of soda and we had our local Winn Dixie (2 stores) donte 30 cup ckaes each. For an admission price we only asked for 1 canned good PER PERSON to go to the local needy families. Then we charged $1 for the pizza, 50 cents for the soda and 25 cents for the cup cakes. Our PTA has a popcorn machine so we charged 50 cents for a big bag of pop corn. The we really advertised the heck out of the movie night...... Flyers home, on our local school tv channel and also poster all over the school. Wee long story short we had 150 people cone, we ordered 20 pizzas (more next time) and all the sodas were gone! After paying for the pizza's and the oil for the popcorn, we made $200! We were PSYCHED!!!!!! I thought it would be the 9 board members eating all 20 pies! haha So good luck and just jump in and have fun!
