We have a night during the week that the principal called a no homework night. The PTO then gave each student a bag with games, cards , dice, etc and copies of instructions for games to play. We also did a school trivia quiz and the student brought it back to school and won a small prize . But it was games the whole family could play and you could not watch TV or play video games that night
Thanks....it looks like it would be April 24-April 30. This works out perfectly as we are hoping to schedule our book fair sometime during that week with a family event on one of the evenings!
Kim, look here:

(hope that comes out ok), I know that it is not usually until the spring. The site gives some wonderful ideas for families, schools, communities, etc. Good luck!
If anyone knows the dates for Turn of the TV week for 2005/2006 would you please post it here. Also, if you have any ideas of what kinds of things you organized through school for this week would be appreciated. Thanks
