This is the second year that we have participated in turn off TV week.
Some of the things we are doing this year are:
Cafe' night (table, candles, appitizers, karioke, and the children's art will be around for parents to see. We have the spring concert sceduled that week, Craft night (about 10 different projects for kids K-8), and the last night is game night (we have game write coming to help with this one.)
Good Luck

No TV Week was created by kidsfirst
Our school has participated in No TV Week for years. We schedule hour long events, i.e. bicycle safety, story telling, family game nite, etc. each evening from 6 to 7, Mon. -Thurs. On Fri. during school we have an assembly and everyone that participated gets their name picked out of a hat and they get to pick out a prize, inexpensive toys & stuff ~ jump ropes, kites, books, notebooks, tshirts, magnifiing glass, puzzles, balls, etc., etc.
My questions are: 1. Any new ideas for events?
and 2. Any new ideas for prizes or rewards?
I know it's only weeks away! All of your wonderful help is appreciated! Thanks so much, Kidsfirst
