I guess we were behind times here in the Bluegrass. I was born in 1974 (that's just between us ) and we had one mounted in our car until my brother took it over in 1980. He had Aerosmith, AC/DC, Peter Frampton and people I just can't remember. Of course my dad's run along the lines of George Jones, Hank Williams, etc. We just weren't into disco. Though I did know a few words to "Shake Your Bootie" and my sis had a Bay City Rollers album.
I thought about those too but they actually date back to 1966. I know we played alot of them in our time though I was more of an age for music when the cassette tape came out. What about the laser Disk players?!?!? Any one remember those? You could rent the movies like the VHS and DVD but the came in the big plastic covers and you slid the whole thing into the machine. I watched GREASE on one of them for the first time. Ah, Wonderful memories!! It scared me the other day when I was subbing and some of the kids have no idea what a typewriter is....Am I getting old and nobody told me?!?!?!
