Hello Shawn, if you could please send me also your math night plans. It sounds like a lot of fun! This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
When our budget was cut last year, they discussed not having the school open after hours for anything including moving all programs to during the day. It didn't happen. When we have our carnival, we pay the janitor a contracted amount to work with us. He doesn't just clean up spills and take out trash though, he really helps. When we have events that might run late, we have to tell the night janitor to make sure we are not in his way.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
Our Prinicpal wont let us have any family fun nights. He doesnt want the building open after hours and to have to pay for a janitor. Did I mention that we already have 2 night janitors? What's that about?
