Im a Co -president for our school.Both Me and the other Pres are Brand New.We hosted a Holiday dinner in Dec.We have 1140 students We had about a 45% attendance Which was 158 Families average About 4-5 people per Family.We HAd Santa Claus .Craft room, and Mostolli dinner for 5 adults 3 childrem 5 and under free.We Had Community donate so we put together baskets, But the Best of all was each classroom put together a themed basket.We had about 84 Baskets (For a silent auction) plus 12 days of christmas Door Prizes 50/50 Raffle.After all was said and Done and this was not our fundraiser we profited about 5700.00 It was Great..Go For IT.

Our old middle school held one every year and may still be doing it. It was very popular with the whole community. I think it was 100% donation. They used the high school key club or national honor society to buss tables and help out overall while parents were kept busy re-stocking sauce and pasta. Good opportunity for school groups to also sell any left over spirit ware or fundraiser products in the foyer.
I've always loved the spaghetti dinners! The PTA at the school I grew up in used to do them and our PTA had one about four years ago.
There used to be an address for meuller's pasta and another company in a posting a while back but I couldn't find it.
We got most of our stuff donated by local grocery stores as well.
We hold our Pasta Dinner the end of January(not much going on then), a local seasonal restaraunt owner donates and coks all the food(ziti, meatballs, salad, and garlic bread), parents bring deserts, and the teachers wait on the "customers". We charge $4 for adults and $2 for the kids. We usually do a small basket raffle also. Last year we made $348 on the dinner, don't know the $ on the raffle. We have 2 seatings 5:30 and 6:15.
hcskards- We do a huge basket raffle every year, last year we got $9000 in donated items and gift certificates. We just start hitting business' in a 50 mile radius, a big furniture chain even gave us a piece of furniture! We have 2 large casinos in our area and got g.c. for dinners, shows, their museum and a room. Start calling, knocking and learn how to beg. LOL
The school that we were at last year had their 39th annual spaghetti supper. The school closed and I am going to miss this tradition.
We did it as a fundraiser. We got things donated. We got cups and napkins from places like Hungry Howies and Subway. We made baked spaghetti, green beans and rolls. We had parents make and send in desserts. It was always a great success and lots of fun. There was a talent show going on up on the stage while everyone was eating and visiting. I was never in charge of it, so I don't have many details.
