This one was soooo popular at our carnival last year: It was called, "Send a message to your Family." We set up a video camera (one that records directly onto DVDs) We video recorded the message from the kids and/or parents and gave them the DVD on the spot. People loved it and it was the most popular NEW BOOTH of the year. Some kids made a special message for mom or dad, grandparents, relatives in the Army, etc. An office supplies store donated the dvd's that we needed and a parent brought their video recorder and tripod. All we had to do was make a sign and set up a couple of chairs. It was a hit.
Hi! A new thing we are adding to our festival in October is a halloween Manicure and Halloween hair braiding.
For the braiding they are just getting black, white, & orange beads to place at the end of each braid. We are doing 2 braids for $1.
As for the Halloween manicure...the cost is $1 and you can get your nails painted in either orange, purple, green, or black, & then you can chose 2 halloween nail stickers to go on a nail on each hand.
At our carnival last May we did a tattoo booth. We brought the temporary tattoos that you wet the back with a damp cloth after you place it were you want it. A pack from the Dollar Store had about 7 tattoos. The kids loved the booth. It was the last one to close out at the carnival.
