My 1st PTO meeting

I think first and foremost would be to introduce your board and be open to all of your new parents. Try to make them comfortable.
Our first meeting is going to be a brief introduction of each committee, our goals and what the PTA wants to accomplish with a little PTA history thrown in. The rest of the meeting is a meet and greet. We want our new parents to feel welcome right off the bat and to not feel as though we are a clique.
(which even if you aren't and are just a bit shy, can appear that way to the new people...)
