If you're doing it as a fundraiser, we charged $6/adult; $3/child; under 5 free. We usually use red/white checker cloth. Have the older kids 7th/8th grade act as servers (red shirts with checkered scarves around neck). We usually serve spaghetti, meatballs, bread sticks, salad and ice cream. Someone recently told me they did a spaghetti dinner/bingo and it was a great hit. They charged quite a bit more but sounded like fun.
If you check the archived section under Fundraising in this forum you will note that the Mueller's offer is no longer available for this school year. There was a link to Creamette for possible donations. Good luck
I've never organized a spaghetti dinner, but I've been told that if you go to Mueller's web site, they offer parent-teacher organizations free pasta. The web site is www.muellerspasta.com, the toll free number is 1-877-247-2639.
I am planning a spaghetti dinner for our families and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or ideas for this. We have about 200 students in our school. This will be our "First Annual" so we are starting from scratch here! Thanks!
