I had wanted to do this 2 years ago and I got shot down., because they (Board) didn't want to offend anyone. Give me a break. Here are my ideas for her to use.
It looks like UIL is coming up soon; you may want to participate but your not sure.
You seem to be doing great in math,
she can use other subject;
have the teacher know what's happening at school and go around that theme.
I thought it would be lots of fun. Even do palm reading would be great. It's all for fun for the kids., I don't see it offending anyone.
My goodness what other folks think of for the kids not to have fun they must not have a life.
That sounds great! How nice that the teacher will get into the theme too. Is it a contest between different grades or classes wihtin a grade? We don't do a door decorating thing, but it sounds really neat. You could decorate the dooor like a jukebox and the teacher could be a 50's girl. I'll be thinking....I love the idea.
I was thinking about a fortune teller theme. The teacher will dress as a gypsy and will have a crystal ball. Maybe a bead curtain hanging on the door. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. I haven't bought anything yet so this idea is not set in stone yet. Please give me any ideas or themes!! Thank you :eek:
