As far as charging, we do most of ours as a silent auction with a few set aside for drawings. The drawing tickets are $1. We make $50-$100 on each of the drawing items, but we usually only have 4 or 5 (not all are baskets). Sorry, I don't have experience to share doing the whole thing as drawings.

Here's our list from last time:

Arts & Crafts, Baby Boy, Baby Girl, Barbie, Bar-B-Que, Bath & Body, Beach & Pool, Beach/Pool, Candles, Car Wash, Children's Books, Chocolate Lovers II, Games, Gardening, Gift Wrap, Harry Potter, Hot Wheels, Italian/Pasta, Manicure Basket, Mexican Food, Movies, Patriotic, Play-doh, Scrapbooking, Texas (Big), Texas (Little), Travel Games & Summer Fun, Writing/Drawing

The Bath & Body baskets are always very popular, both to fill and to buy. We often end up with 2 or 3 of those. Chocolate is a big favorite, as well as the baby baskets. Candles are also a big hit.

Hi ~

Last year was our first year to have a spring carnival. We made almost 3,000.00!!!! I never imagined it would be such a hit, but it was!! :D It takes a lot of work and one crazy night, but it's worth it. I did themed baskets by grade level. We had an education basket that went over the best. Others were Boy Basket, Girl Basket, Family Fun and TLC Baskets. If we got alot of one item we simply made 2 or 3 baskets for that theme.

Good Luck!!!
