Expos great for ideas

Hi Suzanne,

Thanks for the input on Expos. Each year, we have a team that puts together an Expo schedule based on many different variables (there are tons of moving parts!) and they come up with a plan. I will definitely pass along your comment to them!

Thanks,

Rose C.

Why aren't there any expo events held in the western U.S.? I'm sure there are PTOs that have members who'd love to attend, but cannot because they're all back east. It would be great if you could hold one in Los Angeles, Phoenix, etc.

Great feedback!

Thanks so much for sharing that with the community!

Any photos to share from the Science Night? They'd be great to share with our Facebook friends!

Thanks so much,

Rose C.

Wanted to share that the two big ideas we took away from the 2013 expos are really bering fruit at Kellar Primary. We just finished an amazing science night with magician/scientist David Hagerman, who we met at the Expos in St. Charles, MO last year. He was wonderful, kids loved him.

Also, we are quite pleased with the monthly newsletters we receive through Newscrafted, another company we met at the expo. The publications are a great way for us to share PTO involve, encourage involvement and keep the excitement going from month-to-month by using lots of photos from events and class activities.

I'd easily recommend both to other PTO/PTA groups looking for ways to boost involvement.
