thank you all....we are working on it but decided on renting the Sumo Wrestler suits since there is no need for generator or much space. We are going to build a life-size angry birds games (cardboard boxes and balls) to be knocked down with a ball....simple and looks fun! Buying a time golf putting tee and an oversized inflatable tennis racket/net set. Spend $ to make $!
I was thinking for our family fun night to get a big fishing net with the handle and position it somehow on a PVC stand and then kids could try to throw frisbe or balls into it. Also take a board and put 5-6 golf tees in it. On the golf tees you can put ping pong balls then the kids have to use squirt guns to knock off ping pong balls. Maybe get some high school cheerleaders to come and teach some of the girls some cheers.
You could make a football toss- make the board out of a piece on standing plywood painted green with white line markers and hole in the middle ----
Also could have a make a soccer goal net---
Lego art work-- with small sets of legos-- donated or buy the big box and split into baggies...
Rent a timing basketball net--
or you could set up an electronic game-- playstation has a few --- and you could try and work with Best Buy to borrow one--- sometimes they come out with items....
I am looking for ideas to boost our Kid's Pavilion for our annual Blocktoberfest in October! We had a blast with poster ring toss last year. We have inflatables, cookie & pumpkin decorating, bean bag toss, can knock over, tattoos & face painting. But really could use something for the older kid's especially. Mine are in 4th & 6th grade and getting a little too big to be in the bounce house so the obstacle course is there best bet. But what creative ideas do you have for me? This is the 4th year of the fest and need to add a bit more since we offer wristbands for the pavilion area.
