PRS VP-
Thanks giving KOSANKE454 an idea of what the Expos are like. Glad to hear you are attending again!

The Texas expo last week was very busy and a lot of fun. It was great to talk face to face to the parent group leaders in that area. Everyone was very positive about their Expo experience. I knew when a member of our company made an announcement to everyone, suggesting that people take their tote bags out to their car to empty the contents so they could ease the load and re-fill the bag, that people were having a good time and getting some great ideas.

There has also been some positive feedback from Texas attendees on our Facebook page:

I went to my first Expo last year and it was great!!! I'm already signed up to attend this year, and our school principal is going too! I got a lot of useful information, and many of the companies there were local to my area. I came back from the Expo with a bag full of samples and brochures, and a renewed enthusiasm when I needed it most. The PTO Expo was definitely worthwhile, definitely worth the modest cost, and definitely a great time.

Our first PTO Expo for 2010 is February 24th in Texas and we're really looking forward to kicking things off!

Admission is affordable ($5 for Plus members and $10 for non-members), and it's a great opportunity to actually see vendor's products and talk to their reps. Leaders love the samples that they get too. Also, it's a great time to connect with other parent group leaders and meet the folks from PTO Today.

This will be my first time attending as an employee of PTO Today but in the past I have attended as a PTO mom. By popping into the Expo learned so much about fundraising, playground and arts and enrichment programs. I think it really helps a group narrow their focus and also try new programs. Plus, it's just nice to be with so many people that share your same parent group passion.

Would love to hear from others who have attended past Expos and can give KOSANKE454 some input!

Has anyone attended the EXPO this year? How was it ? Was it worth spending the money to go ? Did it help? Thanks for your input.
