I started this foundation after my son Christopher Allen Williams was fatally killed in a car accident in 2006.

Christopher’s foundation is hosting a Mentor Fair on Saturday, June 27th 2009 @ Gresham Park (Atlanta, GA) from 12pm to 4pm.

I wanted to invite you to participate in the "Mentor Fair" that Love From Afar is hosting. We are recruiting Mentors and Mentees for the 2009 -2010 school year.



Please come and showcase your foundation/organization and Help Me Help You Save Our Youth!!



Company Booths are $100.00 and will also include "FREE" advertisement for the Mentor Fair. Invest in a child for the 2009 - 2010 school year.



The foundation has set a $25,000.00 goal for the 2009 - 2010 school year.



*Company Sponsors are also needed for supplies to make this event and future events successful. (Please call for wish list and further details)!!!

The proceeds donated to the organization will be distributed to the children in the community in two major ways:



1) Free School Supply Drive in August 2009



2) 10 - $1000.00 Scholarships to 10 children who meet the below qualifications.



The Top 10 Children who sign up the day of the event to be a Mentee and receive a Mentor will have the opportunity to win $1000.00. **



**The top 10 children with good praise reports throughout the school year 2009-2010 and also including acceptable Academic Stats (2.5 GPA or Higher) or Most Improved GPA, No Teenage Pregnancy (Male/Female), or No Juvenile Jail System or Police Contact will receive a $1000.00 scholarship awarded between the Mentor and the Mentee.
