Or do you mean a directory that includes the businesses that are owned/operated by parents and alumni of the school? If that's what you're talking about, sounds like a good idea. We're planning on doing a vendor fair that will include parent and local businesses and part of their booth cost is to be included in a directory like the one I think you're talking about.
Tell me exactly what you are looking to accomplish... is it a directory of current students with names, addresses, parent e-mail etc. or something else related to alumni and local businesses. Your post is confusing.

Living in a small area, we like to patronize our local businesses....yet, nobody want to take the time to put together a parent/alumni directory. (I also think it would be a great resource to help reduce the cost of some of the things we use on a regular basis.)
Does anyone have a Parent Directory? How is it set up? Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated!
