I saw this recommendation in the PTO newsletter, but the person who had done it only did it for the new Kindergarten students. I talked to the principal and she thought this was a cool idea. I am thinking though just to put the school name and welcomes you to kindergarten! For safety not putting the child's name unless the parents say it is okay.
Would love to hear how others have accomplished this economically!
My principal mentioned making signs for all of the students and putting them in their front yards a few days before school starts. I have searched through the posts and can't find any saying that somebody has done something similar. What would I put on the signs? Is it safe to put their first name and entering grade? We have roughly 260 kids so I would like to get started soon making the signs. TIA
