I'm sure your flyers have specified your school name on it as the entity conducting the fundraisers and you can certainly prove that they did not make a contribution of volunteers, sales, etc. So they should receive any proceeds. Our elementary and middle school used to be a combined PTO, but once each population grew & it was harder to split the proceeds fairly, we split into separate PTO's. It was beneficial to us all and you should maybe consider doing the same. Of course, it involves some paperwork, but it will be well worth it to establish yourself as an independent entity from the HS

Oh no!!! If they want in tell them that it will start fresh in the fall, when THEY can start fundraising, any funds in the account now belong to your elementary school. They have nerve to ask no matter how poor of area you are!

Yes, our HS does have a booster club. Also, like everyother school the organiztions/clubs have various fundraisers to raise money for theirs needs.
In the past the booster club has helped them, even though, I do believe mainly sports oriented.
Does your high school have a Booster Club or a student council group? They should be the ones that help the high school. Or that is how our school system works. We are located in 2 different builds too.

Okay--I would really approach this by offering a wonderful "workshop" to their PTO on how to do things that will encourage esprit de corps and fundraising. Make this a "win win" as you WILL be there soon enough with your own children. Give them the tools you've used via a friendly exchange and tutoring/mentoring but your dollars are spent on your children period...
Great news is you can be a tremendous asset due to your success...and you can sell this as sliced bread (in the sense that you are the greatest thing since) but ensure the integrity of your groups efforts stay within your group.
