Thanks Shawn!

I'm thinking I'll looking the Spiderwick Chronicles. Wouldn't hurt - I have them here at home. LOL! I know that these have been popular checkouts at the school library the last couple years.

I'm looking for theme ideas for our summer reading program. I know - we are just finishing up - but now I need to get ready for next year! For two years we have had a 6 week program to help promote reading & math during the summer. It's open to all of our K-5 students.

The first year we had Reading Luau & this year we went Narnia & "Into the Wardrobe". We have several stations that we name with to go with it. For instance our audiobook listening station was "Lamppost Listening", guided math lessons were "Mr. Tumnus' Teaching"

So I need to be thinking in terms of a broad theme and specific subcatagories to go with it.

I'd love to stay with a book type theme. Any takers????
