We started this year off by sending out packets to form committees, We listed every event or fundraiser and gave the parents the oppurtunity to sign up for those that interest them,We told exactly what each committee would be doing and asked them to list their phone numbers and days and times that were best for them.People have signed up that I haven't seen do anything in my 4 years on PTO.

We are always trying things to get parents more interested and involved in our parent group. Has anyone tried some innovative ideas that have worked? We have a program for parents to sign a promise card to volunteer which has helped. We have used banners and postcards. But what else can we do to get more parents to help out?
