Yes, the pledge support is in the current version.
Note: with ASP-style (online) software, there is no Version 2 or Version 3. Every change/improvement we make can go live immediately, and all users get the changes without ever having to download or patch software. That's the beauty. If we were counting, therefore, I guess we'd be on version 348. . It's just that all those improvements are nuisance-free for users.
Its built into V2? (Moved so I havent checked out the updated software) no PTA or PTO affiliation till we know which school daughter gets into

1. I'm sure all of the regulars easily see that many of the posts that have been appearing in this thread are by the same and/or related parties -- all with ties to another program. If you see deleted items, it's because of our "no ads" rules (which apply no matter how clever particular posters try to be).
2. Yes, Shawn the 3hour program was adopted by PTA a couple of years back. But the two parties disconnected last fall. I figure PTA will have its own pledge program in coming months. As other folks here have said -- more tools the better for all groups.
3. Agree that the number of hours is much less relevant than the pledge itself. We actually built a "pledge program" tool into our PTO Manager software, and the tool lets you set the number of hours in your pledge, so 2 hours is not hard-coded there.
Didnt PTA adopt 3forme as ione of its programs this past yr?

Hey, There are a lot of ideas and programs out there that people use and share. Compare PTA and PTO and there are a lot of similarities in the issues, just as with the three4me parent involvement topic.
I say you all need to get back on the topic and just appreciate any program to get more parents involved. A lot of PTA's, PTO's and other groups might not hear about this parent involvement program or another, but each group serves its base. So, do three4me, or do PTO's two hour power. Stop gettin all heated up and worked up about it.
I bet we will see PTA put out something soon too. If PTO does it, PTA will follow; I bet. Then you will all be saying that PTA stole the idea from PTO. It really doesn't matter, does it?
