Hmmm-maybe you should look for a new treasurer and you step up to the VP position to give yourself a break. Sometimes a new perspective is refreshing. If that isn't possible, do you have connectivity with your membership to ask for support from others in your school (i.e. can you send out a general email saying you have a vacancy?). If not do you have anyone in mind that might be interested? May be time to get a phone-a-thon going to talk to some of the new parents about the position.
If all of that fails, you can do without the position or a stand in until the school year starts and you can use one of those venues to advertise the position (a flier home for instance) and then once you have a nominee, if no one is running against them, allow them to take on the duties of the VP until your first meeting when you can vote her/him in.
Now, given your sign off, I think you need to assess what you can do to alleviate some of your own stress and duties. It's July, rest time, time when you're supposed to be getting your spirit and second wind. If those 2 things ain't happening, maybe you can find someone to help in the T-position to give yourself a break.
Our Vice President moved during the school year...she has been stringing us along for the last few months...but we all knew that she would commit to the new school district... Today she confirmed that...
So... What do we do...??? Who fills in until we start the school year and officially elect someone... We have the loosest bylaws ever...
