We will have a seperate packet for the Kindergarten orientation, which is held the week that school starts for grades 1-5. We have our Membership Form, Volunteer Form, a Welcome Letter, What We Do report, a business card for our website and a list of events that we typically have all arranged neatly in a pocket folder. The teachers give them to the child's parent when they come in for orientation.

At Back to School night, we will setup a table or two with all of our information in a place where parents have no choice but to walk on by us.

Would anyone be so kind as to e-mail me a copy of your welcome packet or any other ideas for the beginning of school.

I am the only returning member of our PTO board this year and I am more than a little overwhelmed!
