end of year party

My group also would never use funds for this purpose. $30 sounds like nothing compared to all of your hard work, dedication, blood, sweat, tears, etc.... But like dlf said, it would be uncomfortable to explain and I can assure you, someone will ask.

My "Thank You!!!" to my group every year is picking up the tab at the June dinner meeting - or at least the bar bill and the tip because sometimes the others grab the check and pay for me as their thank you to me.......

We don't use PTO funds for our board...just doesn't brief well. Some do it but we had a no host dinner at a restaurant and I made small presentations that I purchased. Every group is different and I'm not trying to sound "above that" or anything. I just know I wouldn't feel comfortable discussing with a parent who questioned it. Espeically for such a small amount.
Others with differnt thoughts will chime in I'm sure...

Our PTO board wants to have a small get together at the end of the school year. We're looking to send about $30.00 on food for our last meeting. Is this ever done and is it ok?
