parents/kids (and staff too) can drop note in, with short description of what a staff person did that month, that deserves extra recognition.
then pull the winner out of a hat. of course, you would need the person to sign their note, so one could confirm the accuracy of the statement made, before confirming a winner.
This sounds like a good idea. How would you decide who won. I thought about doing a school employee of the month. That way it include everyone. Maybe do something by the teachers doors to collect change in. It would have to be attached some how.

I was thinking of starting a "Teacher of the Month" contest in our school. I was going to see if I could have a sign made that had a special parking space for that teacher too. Has anyone done something like this? Do you have the kids vote? I just wonder how this could work without having a whole class vote for their teacher. Just a thought.
