Covenant House Faith Community is a full-time volunteer program that works directly with Covenant House, which is an organization that works with homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth. Faith Community has three locations: New York, NY; Atlantic City, NJ; Fort Lauderdale, FL, and offers commitments of 3, 6, and 12 months.

Faith Community offers its volunteers three opportunities:
SERVICE - Volunteers work 40 hours a week with Covenant House. Volunteers are trained, treated, and evaluated as full-time staff. Most volunteers work in direct contact with the youth.
COMMUNITY - Volunteers live in intentional community, sharing in daily chores, meals, retreats, and community activities.
PRAYER/REFLECTION - Volunteers have the opportunity to gather for 30 minutes a day in communal prayer/reflection. Faith Community welcomes members from all or no faith backgrounds.

In return for their service volunteers receive:
- Room, board, and a small weekly stipend
- Medical and dental insurance
- Deferral of most student loans
- Severance stipend payable at the end of service
- Vacation stipend and vacation time
- Community retreats in March and August
- AmeriCorps Education Opportunity
