We used Patrick Garner. He's out of Montclair. He does a History's Alive program for our K-6 school breaking them into two groups. He dresses up and makes it interesting. The kids love it. This year he did the Wright Brothers and were considering him for next year for some other programs he does. Check www.historysalive.com
I am from Philly, and we have had the YOJO assemblies at our school. He is spectacular and all the kids and staff kept talking about this program weeks after the show. They have a "Choose to Read", "Ace Your Test" and a "Do Your Body Right" show. We had the Test shows and they were great. The Read show also has a Reading Challenge with it, if you choose to do it. Check it out at www.yojo.com

Anyone in the NJ area interested in posting good assemblies they have had in their schools? I am looking for some new ones for the coming year. We previously used Prismatic Magic (great!!), Hoop Wizard (really good), Harlem Wizards, The Reptile Guy, etc. Hoping to find some other new ones. Thanks!!!
