we have a S.P.R.R.C. (pronounced spark)Plan and the students receive "s.p.r.r.c." tickets. it stands for "Save, Peaceful, Responsible, Respectful, Cooperative". K thru 3rd can redeem their tickets for a free homework pass, sprrc recess, or a candy coupon for our pto candy sale every friday. Grades 4-6 , we have a store where they can purchase clipboards, pencils, stuffed animals, soda's, pens, rulers, notebooks and other stuff.

Our students really enjoy it. It's not sponsored by the PTO but our principal does it instead.

Our AR is totally seperate and at the end of the year, we host AR DAY .. .those who reach certain levels get to enjoy free popcorn, watch the talent show, pizza for lunch, AR carnival, AND those that reach the highest level, we take them bowling or roller skating during the school day. It's always held at the end of the year so everyone has a chance to reach at least the 1st level

We only have an AR Store. The kids accumulate AR points and spend them at the store on school supplies and spirit stuff.

Our school does "BOB notes" Brilliantly outstanding Bobcats and we give the VPrinicipal a coupon the he gives the recipient of a BOB note. It is good for one dollar in "stuff" from our school spirit store. There are only about 20 students a month that get this type of recognition so it is definitely doable....dianna

I am in the process of starting a PTO at a new elementary school. We would like to implement some kind of "PTO bucks" to reward the students for behavior, AR points, and parent participation. Does anyone have a program like this? I am looking for any suggestions on how to do this? Help, please!
