We put it in our yearbook too. I think it's extremely appropriate (although I wouldn't care if it wasn't there) because we put in countless volunteer hours to raise thousands of dollars to help enrich the school experience for the kids. We have pictures from all our major events (fundraisers and family events). I don't think you are disrespecting anyone by rewarding volunteers for their efforts.
We put ours in there, and also post it on our website. Since many of our officers continue it is a good too for recognition. We also include a lot of photos from activities so we catch a lot of our volunteers as well....d
Hello - For those of you that have a yearbook at the elementary school level. Do you have a picture of your PTO board members in the yearbook? Or do you feel it would not represent all of the parents that contribute throughout the year to fundraising and activities. I have very mixed feelings about including a picture of board or committee members in the yearbook ,is it an appropriate place for a picture?
