We usually do a sack lunch. Which includes a hotdog, chips, a clementine orange, a cookie, and a bottle of water. I think pizza would work well too. Since you already do hotdogs.
This year we're catering our middle school field day lunch through the company that runs the cafeterias in our district. They will do a BBQ lunch (hot dogs, hamburger, and veggie burgers) plus side dishes for a very reasonable price. We've gotten positive feedback from other schools in the district that have used them for BBQs but this is the first time we're trying them out.
Do you have an Outback Steakhouse resturant nearby? They do alot of catering for non-profits - and I think it is for free. Our school is using them this year - but it has been organized by the teachers, not the PTO, so I don't have the particulars. Worth checking out - better than hot dogs or ham & cheese!
Looking for suggestions of food to serve at field day! We have 600 students 1-5th that we feed plus 100 or so volunteers. Usually do Hot Dogs, Chips and pop but we are looking to switch it up a bit. Thanks for any info!
