In the past I've done a bulletin board that said, "A Garden of Thanks For All You Do!". I used a blue background with rainbow border and made a big yellow sun and put a smiling face on it and then made a flower garden out of silk flowers. Everything from sunflowers to pansies. I also made little flower packets and put them on brown paper "sticks" and wrote words like time, caring, dedicated, etc. on them. You could add butterflies or whatever. It was pretty easy. I just stapled the flowers to the board. It's been one of my favorite boards. It stayed up through April and May for volunteer and teacher appreciation.
What about something like Shooting Stars? You could put a picture of each volunteer into a star (purchased pre-cut from a craft store or scapbook shop) And at the bottom have a great big thank you to the volunteers?
The PTO is in charge of changing our monthly bulletin board at the school in the foyer. I need ideas for next month to honor the volunteers and for May for the teachers. I'm not the crafty type so I need something SIMPLE.
Any suggestions????
Thanks a bunch
Cindy
