Thanks for your feedback! It's nice to know that there is a good company providing this service. Kimba did you guys really do this yourselves? I am so impressed. How on earth did you get the volunteers to shop and sort everything? especially over the summer? I want to know your secret!
I researched all the companies and got bids for the school kits. The costs were outrageous and from talking to schools who had used the various service, the service and quality was shotty at best. So, we decided to try it ourselves. IT WAS AN EXCELLENT FUNDRAISER! By shopping the internet and the sales we were able to provide the exact kits the teachers requested (brand specific to boot!) and generate a healthy profit by selling the kits at $25 each for any grade. We had about a 30% participation the first year!
We used Schoolkidz last year and plan on using them again this year. Out of over 400 kits ordered and 62 backpacks...we had ONE glue leak in a box, and they replaced it immediately.
Excellent!!

Our school has used SchoolKidz. It is great. We did not use it last year, but will again this year, hopefully as a fundraiser.
Just curious if anyone out there has used Schoolkidz to order "back to school" packs? I love this idea, but we used Schoolpop for the first time last year and it was a nightmare. Orders were incomplete, families were unhappy with the quality...Needless to say our group is a little leary about trying it again. Any ifo would be appreciated.
