We do not charge dues either. We also are low-income even if we weren't there would still be no dues. If I would have to pay to join an organization then I wouldn't join. I think alot of people feel the same way.
We do not charge dues. We are a very low-income school and charging dues would prevent us from reaching out to many of our parents.

We charge 7.50 a year. But that gets the PTO members a car magnet worth 5 dollars and a calendar we sell for 1.50 so it all evens out. We are also a start up (last year)which meant we really needed the money to get going...d
Do any of you guys have an opinion or insight as to whether to charge dues to be part of the PTO (not PTA). Do any of your PTO goups charge dues? If so, how much?
