I'm a PTO Secretary, and when I asked about how we welcomed back parents was told that we just put it in the school newsletter. Even though we're 4 weeks into the school year, I feel it's not too late to have a BETTER welcoming. Please email me a sample Thank you This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
I have just found this site and was looking for information on a welcome packet -- is there any chance you can send it to me also. Thank you in advance.

We have been in school for a couple of weeks and distributed our Welcome packets out at our "Back to School" picnic and they were met with rousing success! We included a welcome letter, a list of the officers, our events that we sponsor-what they are-when they are-who is the chair--and everything else, also our calendar, a copy of our by-laws, a financial statement and we put it all in a 3-prong 2-pocket folder. Our families loved them and we hope to do them every year and distribute them at our picnic! I love the idea of the magnets--this year we gave each of the kids those rubber bracelets and they loved them! Good luck to all of you!
Could you please send me your welcome information...thanks This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
I am actively seeking ideas to help promote our PTO... Please send my information concerning the "Welcoming Packets". I have just been elected from Secretary to New President... Thanks
