Collecting inkjet cartridges is certainly worth doing. It is money for nothing, so regardless of what you make it is worth it. We are a small school and we earn around $500 each year this way.
I had never seen the company recyclersusa. So I checked it out and I have to tell you that the company I use
Empties4Cash.com
has a better program. They pay up to $4 a cartridge, where recyclersusa maxes out at $2. So I am making $1-$2 more on many of the same cartridges.
Also empties4Cash sends you a check within 5 business days of receiving your cartridges and Recyclersusa says you get your check within 30 days. Lastly, Recyclersusa does not provide boxes to mail your cartridges in and Empties4cash does which is a minor point, but I like not having to dig around for a box to mail them in.
Has anyone delt with this company? (recyclersusa.com) I have some info on it and was thinking it might be a good way to raise some money along with our other fundraisers. Just wondering if it would be worth the effort...
Thanks,
Jag
