At the elementary we had two big metal cabinets and our big stuff was put in the work room (sno cone machine, etc). Some of our stuff was stored in the boiler room. The new PTO doesn't even have a drawer. I have already gotten the promise for a bulletin board in the work room so I am working my way up to ask for some space. LOL!!
we have one kitchen cabinet for storage in the teachers room at our high school (cups, coffee etc. for our meetings).
We are a Pre-K thru 12 PTO. We keep all our "stuff" in our basements at home (sandwich board signs, paper, carnival items/games, etc. You name it, its in my basement and my husband isn't too happy about it!).
We did just open up a new primary building so I HOPE some storage space will open up for us in one of the 4 buildings this year! Good Luck!
We don't even have a CLOSET!!! I spent my year as president whining "Please, just one closet!!" Finally, our new principal keeps promising...we'll see...
We have 700 kids and every classroom used, so we get only 3 storage cabinets in the hall. I would love a small room we could make our own, but there just isn't space in our school these days. The principal has promised us a new special locking cabniet/hutch in the front office, but we won't get it until next year (waiting on bond money). Til then, we use a couple of mail slots in the office for our "in" basket.
Wow! And to think at how excited I got when a new self storage place went in about 1/2 mile from the school and donated a 7 x 7 space to us. Until then, everything was stored in my guest room. Now I'm jealous, I want to Parent Room. Our meeting are held in the library and we get to use the school copier any time we want, but still...I want a room.
