We have fortunate to have 2 carpenter's wife on our PTO board. Their husbands are very willing to help. We are also very fortunate to have many fathers who are very willing to give up a few hours of their time to help with whatever we need. Talk to your board members and you will probably find one or two that have husband who would help or know of someone esle that would.
Last September our school held a Dad's Can Do It week. During this week we asked our Dad's to make or repair games for our upcoming Halloween Carnival. It was suprising how many dad's were willing to help. Because of the dangers in constructing these items at school, we supplies them with the materials and they were able to work at their own pace.
Has anyone sent a letter out to the parents asking for help with constructing fun fair games??? I figured that there would be a lot of carpenters out there who could help. Any luck with this at your school and if so could I have the letter that you sent out?? Thanks.
