We just had our Kindergarten Round-up this past Tuesday night. We sent flyers to every daycare and pre-school in our area. The kids toured the kindergarten rooms and then they came to the WONDERFUL PTO and had an Ice Cream Social. They made their own sundaes and we had all the toppings for it. They loved it!
Normally, we have 30 incoming show, this year we had 72. Our usual attendance for the year is 100 to 110 kids. (for kindergarten)
This is a great way to cut the registration down in July when we go back. Also, our schools population is over 1,000 kids.
Our schools Kinder registration is comming up. We would really like to use this time to get the first time parents excited about the PTO and volunteering. Is anyone willing to e-mail or snail mail me a copy of what their organization uses? I would really appreciate any examples. [img]smile.gif[/img]
