We are a small rural school so therefore we have no "city" per say with businesses to really support us. We have just a few local small town businesses. So the surrounding towns in the county get hit up hard by all the schools including the ones in their hometown.

I was just wondering if anyone has any different ideas on how to get support and raise funds. Our area has lots of elderly people on social security. We have a high percentage of low-income families and free lunch families.

With the budget cuts and failure of a tax levy increase our school is hurting for many things. We are in Missouri.

We've done donation letters, catalog sales, t-shirts, car washes etc.
