A Copy of the Room Parent Handbook would be a God Send. Can someone forward it to me as well? This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

I forgot one more thing I'm throwing in that Room Mother folder this year--a list of every NEW student in the school. We started having back-to-school parties last year and we honor every new student at these parties. Room mothers plan these parties so they need these names.

IF the teachers want, a room parent (of course it really could be any parent in the class) could help if they have like a MOnday folder to fill. At our school each child has a Monday folder with all important notes, etc... that go home, I filled them for both of my kids teachers and it gives them time to do something else during their planning time, like plan.
Also, for the younger grades, if allowed at your school... one hour, once a week for grading papers, not major tests but homework assignments just to okay that they were completed.
