Do you give these out at Kinder sign-ups or wait until meet the teacher night. Does your pto do any kind of program that night or do you wait til things calm down.
We did not have pto at the beginning of the year and our teachers had forms out that night where parents could sign up to volunteer. but even if you signed up, I and other parents had to keep asking our teacher when we could start and they finally let us in. I understand their hesitation, I taught once. I like the idea of the pto sending out the teacher questionaire and filling the times they request. I think I need to get another post going.
