It's funny you should recommend that...it's a great idea and I was thinking the same thing yesterday while I subbed in the library. I usually pick up a junior fiction book while I'm in there to pass the time and many times I've recommended it to a student that needed a book for advisory. Our elem students have a DEAR time...Drop Everything And Read...and it has encouraged so many non-readers to pick up a book. I love to read and I wish more people, adults too, would turn off the TV and do it. Anything we can do to encourage reading is wonderful! :cool:

One of our teachers has a poster on her classroom door... It says:

"BOOKS - THE OTHER CHANNEL"
