The kids go wild sending a lot of Secret Admirer best friends 4 ever. WE do not do it as a fundraiser just as a fun-thing. We only charge .50 but you could easily charge 1 dollar. We make around 400.00! Just a thought!
you can have kids buy hershey kisses and hugs....we put a few in a little bag and attach a ribbon and a note as to who its for and from. We also make sure every kid in the school gets one from the PTO so noone is left out
Many moons ago when I was in high school we had an outside company to do this, we did a "Dating Service". We filled out a survey on a scantron type computer sheet then we submitted it along with $2.00. A week later we got a list of people we were compatible with. That may be a little much for your middle school group but something to think about. They could probably fix their own program now a days!
*Singing telegrams that are delivered during the lunch hour and various study hall times
*Heart suckers for $1
*Flowers at $1 a peice
*or offer package deals parents can order, you put together pre detrimined items and the package is delivered to the student. Example maybe, a card, special treat, candy, small teddy bear and all for $10- $15.
* Have the teachers or eighth graders bring in kindergarten pictures and for a quarter or more you can guess who is who.
i became president of the pto at my son's school
recently - the school hasn't had an active pto in
the past, so i have my work cut out for me... there is $$$ available from previous years and need to come up with an idea to raise $$$ - i was
thinking of doing something around valentine's day (this is a middle school, grades 6-8)... can
anyone give me any advice or suggestions to "celebrate" this day amongst the kids??? obviously, we could do a bake sale but i was also toying with the idea of "carnation day" or "card day".... any info provided will be greatly appreciated... thanks
